Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking
Hiking Mount Batur at Sunrise is a popular activity in Bali, Indonesia. Mount Batur is an active volcano located in Kintamani, Bangli Regency, Bali. Many tourists choose to climb to the top of Mount Batur in the early hours of the morning to witness the stunning sunrise with views of the surrounding landscape, including Lake Batur. The climb usually starts in the early hours of the morning, usually around 2 or 3 am, to ensure climbers reach the summit before sunrise. The hike itself takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit, depending on one’s fitness level. It is a moderate hike with some steep sections, but is manageable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness.
